Governor Ikpeazu in Umuahia received the minister of Health, Isaac Adewole who paid him a courtesy visit.
Ikpeazu who observed that no state can do it alone except it keys into what the federal government is doing, commended the minister for the intervention in the nation’s healthcare system.
The minister assured Governor Ikpeazu that the federal government will continue to collaborate with state governments and the private sector, to end medical tourism abroad by Nigerians.
The health minister was on a working visit to federal government owned facilities in Abia state, South East Nigeria.
